SYNFULLY SASSY

The design team at Antonino Salon, along with Primary Syn Hair Color is pleased to unveil “SYNFULLY SASSY” from their 2015 trend release “SYNFUL-2015”.

“This new twist on a short haircut has was created by using a modern disconnection technique, making it more shag-like. Cutting shorter pieces underneath longer sections gives the style a lot of movement and texture and is easy to style”, said Anthony Marsalese, owner of Antonino Salon and Spa in Birmingham, Michigan.

After the style was created, the colorists at Antonino Salon used Primary Syn Hair Color and added custom placement of dark, medium and light blonde sections to accentuate the texture throughout the cut.

Pixie Makes a Comeback

Pixie haircuts have made another resurgence. Since they were first popularized in the late 1950’s when Audrey Hepburn wore the stylish cut for her movie debut in Roman Holiday, Pixie cuts have always made heads turn. Mia Farrow gave the Pixie trend another boost, when Vidal Sassoon gave her his signature look in 1967. Since then we’ve seen different variations on celebrities such as Goldie Hawn, Twiggy, Charlize Theron, Emma Watson, Natalie Portman, Sharon Stone, Michelle Williams, Miley Cyrus, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson, Kristin Chenowith, Halle Berry and most recently, Jennifer Lawrence.-Just to name a few.

“Pixie Haircuts are easy to manage and don’t require a lot of time to style”, says Anthony Marsalese, owner of Antonino Salon and Spa, “so it’s the perfect choice for women on the run”.
