SYNFULLY SUN-KISSED

SYNFULLY SUN-KISSED, from Antonino Salon and Primary Syn Hair Color’s most recent trend release, “SYNFUL-2015” has arrived just in time for the warm weather and is perfect for someone who has never had color before and wants to add a little “summer” into their hair.

“By placing light and dark colors in specific places, it makes the highlights pop” said Anthony Marsalese, owner of Antonino Salon and Spa in Birmingham, Michigan. Adding “light colors appear brighter when they are next to darker colors. And since, the color is so subtle, the new growth will be very diffused, making this a perfect color for someone who doesn’t want to make a total commitment to hair color”.

SYNFULLY SASSY

The design team at Antonino Salon, along with Primary Syn Hair Color is pleased to unveil “SYNFULLY SASSY” from their 2015 trend release “SYNFUL-2015”.

“This new twist on a short haircut has was created by using a modern disconnection technique, making it more shag-like. Cutting shorter pieces underneath longer sections gives the style a lot of movement and texture and is easy to style”, said Anthony Marsalese, owner of Antonino Salon and Spa in Birmingham, Michigan.

After the style was created, the colorists at Antonino Salon used Primary Syn Hair Color and added custom placement of dark, medium and light blonde sections to accentuate the texture throughout the cut.

Synfully Hot

Antonino Salon and Spa and Primary Syn Hair Color introduces "Synfully Hot" from the 2015 Trend Release -"SYNFUL-2015"

This head turning and elegant hair color, customized by the Antonino Salon Design Team, was created by combining cool and warm red tones together. "When deciding on a hair color, it is important to analyze a person's skin tone", said Anthony Marsalese of Antonino Salon and Spa, and "given that our model was neutral, we could have gone either way; warm or cool, so we chose something in the middle. And by using Primary Syn Hair Color, her color will be long lasting, reflective of light and leave the hair in better condition than before we started".

To schedule a consultation to find out which hair color best compliments your natural skin tone, call Antonino Salon at 248-258-5990 or request an on-line appointment today.

Shag Me Baby!

The Shag is back!

We are happy to report that the shag is back. Since hitting the runways in New York and Paris this winter, the rocker inspired haircut has replaced the beach waves popular on catwalks over the summer.

“The biggest difference between the 2015 shag and the shag made famous by Joan Jett in the 1980’s is its structure” says Anthony Marsalese of Antonino Salon and Spa in Birmingham, Michigan. “Although it’s still piecey and textured, it is more defined and much softer”. He continues with “shag’s in the past have been shoulder length with feathering on the top and sides and a full crown, but the new versions can be chin length or shorter and are much narrower”.

After receiving the modern shag, it’s important to style it with appropriate products to achieve the maximum effect. Moroccan Oil’s Root Boost and Hydrating Style Crème are good used together or a cocktail of Texture Maker and Volupt Spray by Sebastian are great when blow drying the hair. Finish the style off with pomade such as Oribe’s Rough Luxury or a soft, touchable hairspray.

All the stylists at Antonino Salon and Spa have been extensively trained on how to create the new shag. So, be sure to stop in or request an appointment to find out if the hair cut is right for you.
